Website Terms of Use
Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft and does not yet constitute final, legally binding terms. It is published for review only and may change before it takes effect. Please check back for the finalised version.
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Conference.care marketing website at this domain (the "Website"), operated by New Frontier Health Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Website Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. About this website
This Website is the public, informational site for Conference.care — a secure platform that helps registered health practitioners coordinate Medicare-funded case conferences. The Website lets you learn about the service, read our resources, and get in touch with us. It is not the platform itself, and you do not need an account to browse it. Any decision to use the platform, and your rights and obligations as a platform user, are dealt with under the separate Platform Terms of Service referred to above.
Information on this Website about case conferencing, MBS item numbers, rebates and the platform is provided for general information only. It is indicative, may change, and should not be relied on as a complete or current statement of Medicare requirements.
3. Use of this website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or any related systems, or circumvent any security or access controls;
- introduce malware, or interfere with, disrupt or place undue load on the Website or its infrastructure;
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, frame or republish the Website or its content except as permitted by law; or
- submit false, misleading or unlawful information through our contact forms.
4. Intellectual property
The Website, including its design, text, graphics, logos and the Conference.care name, is owned by New Frontier Health Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal or internal reference, but you must not otherwise use, reproduce or distribute the content without our permission.
5. No medical or financial advice
Conference.care is a platform — it is not a provider of clinical or medical care and does not practise medicine. Nothing on this Website is medical, clinical, legal, billing or financial advice. Any figures shown (including rebate and revenue examples) are indicative only and are not financial advice. You are responsible for confirming MBS eligibility and requirements for your own circumstances, and for your own clinical judgement and patient care.
6. Privacy
Our handling of personal information collected through this Website is described in our Website Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The platform handles personal and health information under its own separate privacy policy.
7. Third-party links
This Website may link to third-party websites and services (for example, our sign-up and demo-booking pages, or external resources). Those are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Following a link is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimers and warranties
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, currency, or that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, New Frontier Health Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) this Website or any reliance on its content. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to the website and these Terms
We may update, change or discontinue parts of the Website, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the courts that hear appeals from them.
